Worldwide Food Expo Attendance: Down Chicago—Attendance at the Worldwide
Food Expo may have been down, but it was agreed that the customers
attending The list of projects and interests supplied by customers this year was widely varied, but a few patterns emerged. The tray marketplace continues to generate strong interest, especially in the ovenable and microwavable tray categories. Customers using clear rollstock for vacuum forming and printed bags and pouches also accounted for many of the customer contacts. Stretch films, lidding films, and non-barrier shrink requests were also very active. Packaging Partners, Ltd. is fortunate to work with vendors in all of these product categories, and we are looking forward to working with our new and existing customers alike. The drive to push sales above $20 million in 2006 is well on its way. We have the vendors and customers to accomplish this goal, and it will be exciting to be a part of our growth.
